Is there a sniper on the loose?
TBD 7 is reporting there were more shots fired at the Marine Corps Museum this morning. The shootings have been linked to the one at the Pentagon and the recruiting station in Centreville. Do we have a sniper on the loose that hates the military (or USMC)? Do the authorities know more than we do and are keeping it hush hush? This is a very busy week in Washington . I know most people say every weekend is busy in Washington , but this is an exception. The Marathon draws thousands of runners and not to mention the spectators, and international media and tourists. We will also be having the Stewart/Colbert restore sanity rally. Are we protected? I believe the authorities know more than we do and are keeping it a secret. Don't forget, it's also Halloween, which means people in costume all weekend and I'm willing to bet we'll see many runners in costume. Let's hope that we are protected, not as much from the ground but from the air as well. It appears to me this sniper is traveling via car or motorcycle and can strike quickly and make a quick getaway. He's probably capable of perching himself from heights and quite a distance. Keep your eyes peel.

Redskins get a big win
The Washington Redskins had a tremendous win against the Philadelphia Eagles as Donovan McNabb returned to Philly after being let go last year by his former team. He was cheered as he entered the stadium and given a standing ovation. No sooner did the game start and the Redskins started driving down the field when the boos came out. He was booed throughout the game. McNabb threw for 125 yards and one touchdown to lead the Redskins to a 17 to 12 win.
McNabb's former team mate and quarterback Michael Vick didn't have much of an impact. He was put out of the game during the first quarter as he took a hit while running to the end zone and was sandwiched by 2 Redskin defenders Kareem Moore and DeAngelo Hall. What was much anticipated as a McNabb-Vick match up ended up becoming a McNabb-Kolb match up. The Redskins dominated much of the game until the 4th quarter when the Eagles started driving and taking control of the game. The game actually came down to the last seconds of the game when a desperation throw from Kolb into the end zone with no time outs left bounced of the receiver into the hands of a Redskin player. Game over ! Redskins took first Place in their division, the NFC EAST.
